People who have used article marketing have found that when they write and publish articles that are high quality, they have more people coming to their website.

The articles should be put onto your website, but they should also be placed on the Internet in article directories that have a lot of traffic. There are a lot of people who are constantly searching article directories for quality content, and they may just find your articles intriguing.

2. Social Networking- Another great way to promote your business is through social networking. Places like Facebook and Twitter are great places to let people know about your business and to get the word out. There have been a lot of business owners that have found prospects through social bookmarking, and are now making sales day after day to the people that they met there. You also do not have to worry about cost on these sites, either, because they are completely free. Even though people really go on there to meet people and make new friends, these sites are a great place to meet new prospects as well.

3. Public Appearances- The last great way to get people interested in what you have to offer is to speak at an event or meeting, or to teach a class. When people are speaking in public instead of just writing words on a screen, people know that they believe what they are talking about and are more apt to deal with them. Think about presidential candidates. They are always making speeches and that is what makes people vote for them.

That is why speaking engagements and teaching classes is such a great marketing strategy. Even if you do not do it live, you can make a video of yourself and put it on the Internet. That way everyone can see it, not just people who are in that particular area.

Another huge approach to Internet marketing is by being a magnetic sponsor. Would you rather spend $200 bucks on a drill, or first get free or inexpensive information to learn how to operate that drill properly and effectively? If you are like me, I am sure you would first learn more about how you can make a good hole with this tool before making that kind of purchase.

Would you rather buy from a salesperson who insists that his/her drill is the best tool for what you want to do? I would not. Because I do not like to be sold, and I do not like people to pitch their sales number on me.

Would you rather buy from a person who gave you free information or inexpensive information on how to properly operate, and get the best results from that tool, and who did not try to pitch a drill on you?

Again, if you are like me, you would buy from a person who first took the time to educate you on how to make that hole proper. In your mind, this person is an expert in his/her field, he/she knows what he/she is talking about. So you sell yourself on buying that drill from him/her.

This is what many network marketers keep doing, they keep pitching their opportunities on their family, friends, relatives, and get all hyped up on the net, on their ads, and every one they encounter. But guess what? People do not care about your business opportunity, what they care about is a solution to their problems.

In other words, you did not buy a business opportunity (drill) because you wanted one. You wanted a solution (hole) for more free time to spend with your family, be your own boss, earn a living online, or get rich, etc.

So, what you need to do instead of pitching your opportunity to your prospects, is to sell them inexpensive or give away free information that shows how to solve problems - how to drill that hole. If you can show them how to make that hole, your prospects will come to the conclusion on their own without you pounding hard on them that they need a drill from you.

Why? Because you gave them free knowledge or inexpensive information on how to accomplish their goal, and therefore earning their trust in you.

This is one of the main principles that will allow you to become magnetic and attract your prospects to come to you, instead of you chasing after them.

Thousands go online everyday seeking information on starting a successful web business. With the condition of the economy, even greater numbers are searching to supplement their incomes. That greatly increases the market for your Internet marketing.

Internet marketing is something that has many facets and there are many different ways that you can get people interested in what you have to sell and what you do. You want to think about what your prospects are looking for and use that as a guide.

When you do that, you are going to find that you are going to have customers and prospects coming to you each and every day, and your business making money online will really take off.
